How to… Pagerank Five
May 11th, 2007Much time has passed since I last posted here, and something magic happened: I made it up to Pagerank 5!
Why Pagerank 5 for this lousy page? And how did I get that? Honestly, I have no Idea. But of course I made some conclusions on this:
- RSnake (PR 6) / OWASP (PR 7) / momby (PR 6) linked me, but are three backlinks enough for this?
- I placed my link on Digg’s (or equal community’s) current “Top” stories, either directly in the comments on Digg itself or on the certain page (you’ll find a way)
- Used XSS to Place
<h1><a href=”http://yourpage.com“>yourname</a></h1>
on popular Websites, the SE’s are eating this. Yummy!
Has anyone more ideas on how that happened? I’m keen to know more about this accident incident!

Well, XSS links don’t bequeath you any nameable PR. But for a PR 5 one single link from a good PR 6 page should be enough to raise your green bar….
