Embassy and Government Email Account Mass Hack
August 31st, 2007Today, Dan Egerstad, Swedish security researcher from DEranged Security published a list of about 100 hacked embassy and governmental email accounts, mostly from countries Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, Uzbekistan, but also from “more important” countries like the Indian Embassy in Germany, Iran’s embassies in some African countries and the Chinese “Civil Human Right Front”.
For each hacked account, he gives the account credentials and the IP address of the mail server - let’s hope that won’t get him in any trouble.
